choosing new RAM

Hi I am a newcomer to the world of computer innards, I can install/un-install a hard drive and CD drives but when it comes to RAM I know what to do but I do not know what to buy can anyone help please? my comp is an IBM Aptiva 456A0123 with a 233 megahertz AMD K6 processor the only info on the mobo I have is BIOS: 12/15/97 what is compatible?

oh... that's old man. I don't know if memory that old is still available. Must be some EDO ram or something. I don't remember quite well any more.

Yes quite old, i wouldn't even bother trying to find new ram, i would get a completly new machine.

That's just my opinion.
