NTFS and FAT32
i have a 40 gig HD.....
it has a c:\ which is NTFS...i have a particianed d:\ which is FAT32 what is the easiest way to add that d:\ to my c:\ i need the disk space

Janet, the Easiest way is to use Partition magic.
1. Convert D: to NTFS 2. Merge the drives. the New versions of partition magic make this very easy and almost foolproof. (pm me if you ....ahh.....need further assistance. )

thx for the reply....
![]() i tried partitian magic 8.0 i was able to convert my d:\ to nfts , but couldnt merge them because there was a difference in cluster size c:\4096 d:\512 so i tried makeing them both the same size, but, when it was running it errored out ![]() but, nothing ventured nothing gained!

Guess it is about time for you to BITE the bullet and go for DSL!!
I should warn you though, once you have had DSL you will never be able to go without it...ever again. I would give up: food kids wife Before having to cut my dsl. LOL. (course I am one sick puppy)
