instead of getting an external usb drive, how about getting an external usb drive housing and putting your own drive in, could get a lot more for your £160 that way, and if you should decide that what you have in there isn't big enough you can swap it out for a bigger one.
i reciently bought a usb external housing for £40, add to that a Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9 200Gb 7200rpm 8mb Cache ATA133 Hard Drive - OEM at £130.35 inc VAT from www.ebuyer.com and you have a nice big external drive. QuickFind Code: 43707 | Mfr part #: 6Y200P0 Maxtor 36 but if £160 is your upper limit, how about the Seagate ST3160021A 160gb 7200rpm 2mb Cache Barracuda 7200.7 - OEM £93.99 inc VAT - ebuyer again or the Western Digital Caviar SE 160GB UIDE 100 7200rpm 8mb Cache - OEM £82.37 inc VAT - also from e-buyer. 160 gig of external storage for about £125, bargin
