trojan - beast 2.01

I had some little problems with viewing some webpages offline, so I tried to fix the problem. With active mouse driver the system hang. Disabling the mouse driver or going online fixed the problem. First I made a virus scan witjh Norton - nothing. I updated driver, reinstalled Java VM, but nothing. So finally tried something else - netstat -n 10. That was it. My computer was connecting to 65.54.254.145:25 or 65.54.166.99:25. In my firewall I immediately blocked the whole IP range 65.54. and began to look for answers...

See what I've found

Beast 2.01
Released july 2003. Be aware of it, it can't be detected by the following SW:
HouseCall On-Line Anti-Virus
Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal 4.0
Norton AntiVirus 2003
The Cleaner 3.5
TrojanHunter 3.5
Trojan Remover 6.0.3
- (6.0.4 can detect, but can't remove it)

To remove it:
--- WINDOWS XP / WINDOWS NT ---

1. Turn on PC, press F8 and start in Safe Mode
2. Go to <WinDir>\msagent directory (usually C:\windows\msagent) and delete a file ms****.com (**** are random characters), which has 70k - 80k.
3. Go to <SysDir> (usually C:\windows\system32) and delete a file ms****.com, different from previous, which also has 70k - 80k.
4. Go to <WinDir> or <SysDir> (where you chose the dll to reside) and delete the dxdgns.dll file (or how you renamed it).

PS: I had no success with removal in safe mode. I had to put XP as slave and delete the files this way.

Arrow English News

NEW YORK, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- Wall Street saw its biggest one-day-surge Monday after eight days of deep losses that took the Dowdown nearly 2,400 points as the West governments' plans to support the global banking system. The Dow Jones average rose 936.42, or 11.08 percent, to 9,387.61. The Dow's previous record for a one-day point gain was 499.19, or 4.93 percent, on March 16, 2000. The S&P 500 index advanced 104.13, or 11.58 percent, to 1,003.35. It was the biggest point gain ever for the S&P 500 and was the biggest percentage gain for the index since March 15, 1933, when it surged 16.6 percent. The Nasdaq rose 194.74, or 11.81 percent, to 1,844.25, its 10th biggest point gain; during the dot-com boom, the index soared as much as 324.83 in one day. Its percentage gain Monday was second to the 14.2 percent logged Jan. 3, 2001, the same day that the Nasdaq set its record for a one-day point gain. About 3,030 stocks advanced on the New York Stock Exchange, while only about 160 declined. But the trading volume of 1.82 billion shares was lighter than it had been last week.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Welcome to our wow power leveling site:cheap AGE OF CONAN Power Leveling,Warhammer Online Power Leveling news,MS Mesos,RS Money, buy cheapest EVE ISK.LWB
