partitioning question

Hi,

i tried to partition my hard drive earlier with 2 partitions
i used fdisk and made 2 partitions and then made the first one active
then i exited fdisk and formated drive c
that worked ok
then when i typed: format d (my other partition
it said "format not supported on drive, format terminated"

what does this mean?
how can i format my other partition?

Thanks
-c0lin

technobeast will become famous soon enough technobeast will become famous soon enough
First you have to creat one primary and one extended. Then make the primary active and create logical in the extended. Hope I explained it clear. Good Luck
