Which graphics software for xp
I just wondering if anyone knows a quality graphics prog
for dig camera effects eg red eye reduc, filters, plug ins I have software that come with Olympus mju-300, Camedia 4.1 but of course limited effect features ur imput would be helpful thanks Quote:

Hey zombie
 You might want to look into Adobe Photoshop elements 2 as a choice for correcting your pics. From what I've read, it has a much easier learning curve than Photoshop  More info on it -here-  ~Peace DC

DC is right. I use Elements all the time. It is pretty powerful, but also fairly simple.
It is relatively inexpensive (compared to PhotoShop) but still can use all of the PS plugins. One thing that is good for a beginner is the "recipes". It will walk you through many processes step-by-step which is a very good way to learn the basics of PS.......... :smilewink |

As far managing your photos (like Camedia) I have tried about 6 of them Olympus CAMEDIA, Picasa, Photoflair, Adobe Photoshop Album, ACDSee)
By far the EASIEST to use (as management of photos and options) is JASC Paint Shop Photo Album. This is for a complete suite of management and Basic photo editing. The PSPA has much more editing capabilities than the others I have listed. I Have NOT tried Photoshop Elements YET-- But I think if what you are looking for is pure editing software that is probably your best bet. If you are looking for camera/photo management software give JASC PSPA a try (you can download a trial from their website)

ok
well all i can say is i give all software a go I have tried ACDSEE, Picasa and camedia
As for Photoshop elements 2 i looked in stores today but shops dont have it only have the adobe photo shop 5.5 & paint shop 6 Australia is very slow with updates on all soft except the monoply of MICROSOFT I give JASC PASA a go if can find it Thanks for tips |
