Unhappy When you bring away a chain......

Well ,
in the past days i was without an antivirus so i installed Antivir free antivirus...
I knew that this antivirus sometimes found fake viruses.....
in fact it found one virus in my other XP boot, my backup copy (i use this one in case of problems , like being unable to connect) but right then i ddint delete the "virus". WHen i uninstalled the antivirus program, then it asked if i wanted to delete that old virus. I said ok, and then it deleted the backup copy of XP !

weeeeeeeeeee... ... ..

oh no, not the "ionic breeze"
lol...my wife ordered one of there for my allergies. I ran it a few times, but didn't like the "feel" of the air around it. We prompltly returned it and saved a few hundred $.

Sorry to here about your XP woes though
Maybe LP can shed some light on this one :?

Ionic breeze purifies the air... smell normal.... really...
All that it does is in the invisible world .. and i like to think that helps me to breathe clean

Actually, I seem to think that it was the low levels of ozone that this unit emits creating a "tingling" sensation in my lungs, which is why I opted to ditch it
I'm sure it works great for others and I've read many sparkling reviews on it, just not for me though

Ions, schmions....... :smilewink

Ennyways, what ya probably had was a trojan. They are notorious for taking the OS out when deleted. I think most trojan killers just change the file association to .$$$ or something so the file can stay but do no harm...........

At least it was the backup and not the one you're running.
