access permissions in Windows Server 2003

I just installed the demo of Windows Server 2003. I have a blank password for the administrator. I'm not concerned about that because this os only going to be on the system temporarily.

The problem is that the os wont allow me to install programs and keeps saying something about not allowing a blank password or access restrictions even though I am logged in as the administrator. I have looked in the local policy/security settings in control panel and can't find the setting that needs to be changed to run install programs.

My question is about where this setting is located and whether I need to put in a password instead of having it blank to run install programs. Thanks.

Windows just got better, and you will need to change your admin password to something of at least 8 characters non dictionary word based and alpha and non alphanumeric based

;-)

(Yes it more and more is going to look like a real UNIX machine, whether you like it or not)
