There is actually a program you can download and try out called Winguides Tweak manager. From what I can tell its actually a really good product to check out. And the great thing is you get a trial before you have to pay for it.. so you can see if it really helps or not.

You can find it by clicking Here.

Hope you have fun. Love tweaking stuff myself.

Lion7718 will become famous soon enough
There are alot of Tweak Programs..all kinda do the same Tweaks, most of the Tweaks I made I had to do by hand.
Here is the file I made, hope it helps some.

Boy have you come to the right place... Between all of us we have tweaks comming out our ears..

Almost all of them can be done by hand or fairly easily.

Any specific thing you want to do??? Just ask.

(the tweaking programs will usually do the same things, just with a fancy interface)

personally i find 99% of "tweaks" unnecessary at best, and at worst downright dangerous if you dont know exactly what youre doing.

Unless you know exactly what results you are going to achieve by "tweaking" your system AND you know how to fix it if things go wrong, then i would say dont bother. XP comes pretty nicely tweaked out by default.

One sensible way of reducing your PCs overheads is to check out black vipers services configuration. Again, care is needed so read through each item carefully and find out if it can be safely disabled, if so then go for it, you will see a noticable difference in the way your PC runs.

this is definately one of the better things you can do for your PC, also another program for tweaking xp is ironically TweakXP.
