are you using "free agent" or the "forte agent?" if it's the free agent i recommend getting off it as it doesn't support yenc. i use xnews, it's a good freeware newsreader. as for adding newsgroups i don't know if you can do that? are you asking how to connect to newsgroups?

Wobbel is on a distinguished road
If you need help setting up agent look here

AGENT

If you want to add groups,go to the "all groups" list, rightclick on the group you want to ad to your list, click subscribe, and it wil show up in your subscribed groups list.Click in the top left corner of the agent taskbar on the "get new headers in subscribed groups" icon and it wil retrieve the new headers for your subscribed list.
After retrieving new headers for the first time, open the group you want to look at and click on "subject" agent wil now put all the messages in the correct order.
If you need any more help, just let me know

Agent has got a learning curve to it,but once you "mastered" it,it's a great newsreader wich you can set to your specific needs.

If you're using free agent pm me
