Unhappy MSN Instant Messenger timeout

Anyone have a clue as to why my MSN instant messanger keeps logging me off. I've tried just about all the configurations i can think of to correct this but nothing's working Anyone else experiencing this :? I'm running version 4.6 on Win2Kpro.

hey there,

I don't know about this problem because I have never had it.
When it loged me of usually it was a problem on their side.
Have you tried re-installing it.

can you possibly give me a screen grab of what you think is wrong with it so I can have a look then I'll let you know.

I have never had that problem with it before, is it an oldr version or the latest versio nof msn?/

thanks

Mmm, upgrade to WindowsXP. Mine used to timeout as well, sometimes. I upgraded to XP and it went away... Who knows? :?

well...the problem's solved sort of Thanks to Mouth i'm now running Trillion software, which emcompasses all the popular messenger services (AIM, MSN, ICQ, Yahoo) and it seems to be working after the latest release (7.24) and AIM patch I'm currently trying to skin this app and give it a PCtechtalk look, but it's quite involved and most likely will take some real dedicated time to complete
