My CPU Temp.

is nearly 50 Degrees celsius too hot for my AMD athlon XP 1800+

i like to know becuase i like to condiser getting a brand new heatsink and fan , most likely an termaltake volcano.

should i Condiser getting i new heatsink and fan

its running idle at 47 Degrees and might go even higher when 100 percent load.

Should i buy a new fan and heatsink BEFORE summer hits december here in australia?

Too hot? No.

Bad? Yes.

I'd say that investing in a new fan and heatsink would be a wise move.

Try dusting your HSF - that might clear up the issue altogether.
