For at least the past two years, police say, a group of teenagers in Hamilton were caught up in an unusual extracurricular activity. The teens set up a virtual sex network from their bedrooms, using instant messaging chat programs and cameras that broadcast video from one computer to another using the Internet.

These are smart teens. Kudos for them to be thinking with their head. It's safe, they aren't engaging in anything illegal, its consentual and age appropriate because they naturally have a proclivity to want to have sex but know they aren't ready for what can come with unprotected sex. If these kids had this thing between them and everything was kosher, consentual, and the kids were well adjusted I think it's a shame any charges have to be brought agains anyone. They were simply making their own porn, shit adults do it and we SELL it to one another instead of just sharing it!

I will agree with you to a point I don't think that teens are responsible enouh to keep this between one another. Someone like this guy who made the recording and shared it. If they keep this between the 2 that made it I would not have a problem with this at all. I do think this is a much better alternative than SEX in the back seat of a friends car or anywhere else they would have had it. Just my thoughts on this...

Drakin316 made a good point. While I agree that it isn't a bad idea from a sexual point of view (at least IMO), when recordings are made and then shared with who knows this becomes something competely different.
