Ah yes, the eternal argument over which is the "real" football. The girlyman "don't touch the ball, dont touch the ball, ref, ref, he touched it" soccer or the "I'm gonna rip yer face off if you try to grab our ball" true sport of football.
Hows about some "real" cheerleaders. (you got cheerleaders fer yer tip-toe version of football or just drunken hooligans?) J/K, I'm not much of a sports fan either way, couldn't resist the chance to give ya a dig though......................... |

ehem... compose yourself KF! ehem... so where were we on the whole soccer/football thing.. oh yes.. why do you think your (US) 'football' is better than the sport it TRIES to immitate? i speak of RUGBY for anyone who hasnt guessed it! In rugby , they wear little or no protection, the game is brutal, if you go down, you REALLY go down.. in AMERICAN RUGBY (because its not football is it?... IS IT?.. no its not SHUT UP AT THE BACK WILL YOU!).. as i was saying, in american RUGBY, they wear layers and layers of padding, helmets, shin pads, braces, i mean.. is this a game or are we at a safety first convention? oh and then theres the ball... now correct me if im wrong.. doesnt a ball largely mean something that is ROUND! clearly your using a dictionary created by an gentleman who obviously tried to copy a real ENGLISH dictionary while he was getting drunk on some cheap american beer. which brings me to my last point... I cant fathom american football.. they run forward, they drop the ball, the move back a few yards. They run forward, the get tackled, they grunt and spit, poke and prod, and then they move back a few yards... and itll starts again! im not surprised the guys dance like loonies when they get to the other side.. its a dance of 'thank god i finally made it'. Ah and also, i might add.. can you not invent a sport which does NOT rip off a british game? Rugby=american football baseball=cricket pool=snooker But the saving grace for american sports is definitely the cheerleaders.... FOR ONCE, BRITAIN, RIP THE IDEA AND GET US SOME SPORTS CHEERLEADERS! (hooray usa!)
