The price difference is worth. I don't even have to warm my room in the winter

j/k. AMD has some advantages Intel will never have. For the price you will get an Intel 2 GHz for example you will receive double speeds from AMD (not sure for the exact prices though). Even with small disadvantages like overheating and less efficiency.
