I think I do have the dreaded win modem, we got the drivers off the homepage for the modem and the modem is a smartlink modem with callwaiting capabilities. I was impressed with my hp printer being recognised and up and running right off the bat
we dont seem to have the dvd player working as a dvd either, it recognises it, says its a dvd player and then the dvds don't play, i am thinking that is more a problem of aquiring the dvd playing software for linux. Any clues on where to aquire that? Thanks again
