looks like evryone has a favorite version of linux!!
i still haven't decided which distribution top tr..i have two or three questiosn though...i like editing and encoding dvd and vcds are there programs that can do this in linux??
are the programs intercompatible(i.e. if i get a program from redhat can i runit in other distributions?)
i bought my system prebuilt from a company is there any risk if i installl linux in thi smachine(my recovery disk not working??)
so what do you guys think...i checked out the Xandros distributio and it seems to be the easiest...let's see what happens
