Hi & Thanks!
I have the SB Live 5.1 MP3. It has an optical out port on the card, but no 'red light' when I plug in the cable.
As for software, Creative PlayCentre 2.52, or Winamp 2.78. At first I thought it was software, but if there's not a light, then it doesn't matter what software I use, no?
Is it an installation issue? All Creative was able to come up with was 'Is there a red light?' -after over a week of waiting...
Can I do this straight out of the card to the MD? Or do I need another 'something' ? Dopes at the store said it'd be OK straight from the card....
Out of this, I have discovered that analogue out of the card is not that bad...!
