It hurts to say, but Linux does crash.

"Kernel Panic", but it's very rare. In most cases, the windowmanager crashes (like KDE) and locks the complete OS. It happens too much on those Dell systems to get happy from. Solaris machines sometimes crash too, but that's always on the GUI locking it out. That's the reason why server machines should never run a GUI.
Anywayz, that might be a hardware thing ;-) At home I never saw my current server machine crashing!!!
