Ok, I will try to help you through this, but I need some more info.
What sound card is it .... Create Labs Sound Blaster 5.1?
How are you hooking it up to the MD player ? I have the SB Live 5.1 Platinum which has the optical in/out on the Live Drive expansion.
What software are you trying to use?
