Immediate help needed
I am in need on some help.... Here's the dilemma:
I'm using windows 2000
I just installed some scanner software. I think that it did something with drivers somewhere because on the next boot, I ran into this ugly stop error:
STOP: 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0xEB898465, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
I tried booting from every possible mode offered by w2k. I also tried the repair utility located on the cd and the emergency bootup floppy. None of this would get past the stop error. I get the error during the white w2k load screen. What I have done is installed w2k on the secondary hard drive (d), which is how I am here now. I hope that someone will be able to help me solve this problem. Thanks!
