I believe all that will happen is 1. your password will be reset, and 2. your system clock will be reset. Ive never done this myself so im unsure of whether or not you will lose bios settings. I would guess that if it does not keep the setttings it will revert back to its default settings, which is fine if you havent messed with the bios anyways. If not, its not usually that hard to get your settings back. Good Luck.
