Don't know if this question is in the right section.....

I have a problem with my bios,can't acces the #### thing,somehow there has been a adm.password installed,don't know how,i didn't do it ,the store who build my pc didn,t do it,so ???

I've tried it the easy way with a bios password recovery program,didn't work,tried all the "backdoor"passwords for a award bios,didn't work.So there's one thing left,removing the battery.
My question is,what happens if i remove it,do i lose al my bios settings,or can i,after reinstalling the battery,just start my pc and everything works,and only the password is gone.
Never did a upgrade/flash of my bios,so it has stil the original settings.

I've had this problem with another pc,bought it secondhand,but there the password recovery prog worked great,so no need to remove the battery.

I don't need to go into the bios settings yet,but there may be a day i wil,and when it's password protected,i have a problem.

So,whats going to happen after removing/installing the battery
