you do not need most of the ones you listed, but it does depend on what you do with your computer.

Direct X 9 -- you really do not need this unless you are using a very high end video card and you do graphics intensive applications such as playing the new Games or other things that make extensive use of your graphics cards.

NET framework-- you only need this if you use Microsofts net passport, or if you use a few programs (usually these are some type of communication software, although this can vary) that require the net framework to work. Generally you will not need this...If you do not have the .NET framework installed and you have a program that needs it then you will get a message telling you that you need to install the .net framework.
Most people do not need this.
