OK, Im not quite clear on this setup.

If I am not mistaken, your C drive contains the boot files XP needs to run from G drive.

This is an OK setup if you have two OS's but not really if you are running only one.

The only way to fix it is to redo the whole ball of wax, starting with your preffered drive (I assume the 60 gig) set up as C:drive. This is a very important designation as computers will only boot from the C: drive. WindowsXP can be installed on another drive (unlike other versions of windows) but it MUST boot from C:.

I think this is your problem.
