If you only did the Remove from the control panel "Add/Remove Programs". The video display adapter will still be in your Device Manager.

Make sure that after you have removed the software from "Add/Remove programs" That you ALSO go to your Device manager and remove it from there.

Right click on "My Computer" Then go to Properties. click on the tab up top called "Hardware" then go to Device manager. Pop open the plus sign next to Display adapters.. select your TNT card and remove it.

Make sure before you do this that you have hte "latest" drivers at hand and ready when you reboot.

Once you do the software remove from "Add/Remove programs" and remove it from "Device Manager" then reboot your PC.

When it comes up trying to add new hardware.. let it add your vid card as the default VGA adapter. then when you have booted entirely.. run the driver installation from NVIDIA for the latest Detonator drivers.

This will install the video software as well as the drivers. Then it will reboot your PC and then you should be fine.

Now you may have already done it this way.. but if you have not done it step by step like this.. try again. This is how I had to do it when I formatted my PC and installed Win2k.
