that depends entirely on what you what to do with that linux distribution. personally i would recommend at least 32mb+ for a dedicated router/firewall (more if you have a very high traffic network, i.e. an office environment), and at least 64mb+ for a web/file server (again, more if its a high traffic server). if you plan on running some version of X-windows you will probably want to double those numbers (depending on the version you use, though i wouldnt recommend running X as well). if you do decide to run X might i recommend
