If you don't use MSN Messenger and you just want to get rid of it, there are several ways...The first involves editing a system file and then going through the Add/Remove in Control Panel.
The second is much easier......Just go to Start/Run and type in (or copy/paste) this command:
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection
%windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
(Note: There should be a "space" between the word "Section and the first %.....LaunchINFSection %windir%..........) The command is too long to render on a single line on this page.
That command will uninstall MSN Messenger, short, sweet and to the point!
