Depends on the board version: A version2 will run the 400 bus 3200, but pre ver2 will use the 333 bus 3000. be sure to run memory and cpu in synch. I actually need a cheap 400 bus replacement for my ver2 board(same one you have, only later.) Email me at my yahoo ad if interested in trading the 3200(timo1st@)

A bios reflash will not help with the pre ver2 chipset NOT being capable of 200 mhz fsb(ddr to 400) and be sure to check jumper seting (above mosfets/power circuit caps, behind socket 462 ). To run the 3200 properly, you will also need matching ram. The performance hit is substantial running memory at anything except fsb speed, and not worth it. BTW the 3000 will clock to 3200+ speeds, even a 2500 will. My unlocked 2000 also will run at 2200 fsb(xp3200+ speed!) Build dates of cpu important: pre week 39 of 03 virtually assures unlocked multipliers yielding impressive overclccking potential.
