ok...my sisters emachine computer was all crapped up with viruses, and i didnt really feel like getting ride of them all so i decided to do a complete reformat of her computer. so i boot from windows xp professional cd and go into recovery mode. i type in reformat drive c and when it completed i installed windows xp on the main partition. It completed successfully and rebooted but after the logo screen, it says 'error loading operating system'. I've literally tried every bit of advice i could find and finally decided what you guys think i should do.
I've even tried the recovery disks that came with the computer but to no avail. Im guessing it has something to do with the harddrive but i dont know how to be completely sure.
