I am getting this same message. Only I am getting it after installing my second 512 memory stick. I know the stick is not faulty because I have taken the old one out and put in this one only and the computer boots up just fine.

I tried going into the bios and changing the following settings:

DDR Frequency: 400mhz (as a pose to auto)

Disable Speech thing

DDR Voltage 2.6v

This is the computer I just purchased that i am having the problem with, it is an asus motherboard, I am not exactly sure what model:

I have emailed newegg, as I have purchased both items from them and have had them less than a week. I am awaiting their response.

Any ideas?
