I'm trying to resurrect an old computer,SE440BX MB, that was operational until I attempted to install an additional HD. It stopped running. I've disconnected everything except for the fan and the HD. When I apply power, the fan runs for about one second and stops. When the HD was connected, it would not operate either. I'm illiterate with respect to inside-the-case stuff (never built a computer, but I did install a CD-RW that worked). I would appreciate help.
