i was afraid of that! Also, i did buy new ram for my pc. i had one slot filled when i brought the pc, and i brought a 64mb card MegaBytes brand, think and put it in. It worked fine. But then i went out and brought a bigger card of another brand and it wouldnt fit at all. It had the correct number of pins, but it was just an eight of an inch too big for the slot.
Sadness....
