I have been reading a lot about the new dual layer writers and they sound great but the DVD's right now are still around $11 each but all of these writers will also write onto a standard DVD+-R I plan on buying a dual layer when the prices of the dual media come down. Also if you buy one i would stick with a major label right now to ensure you get support later on. My dvd burner no longer has support from the manufacturer.
