Well there is always a chance of a fan wearing out after a time.. but you have some time before that becomes a concern. Just keep it as a mental note in the back of your mindthat you will need to replace that at some point.

And before you do install the new one.. make sure you come back for some tips on that. Just in case you arent positive on the proper way of doing so. I know i have had my share of mistakes that I "knew" better.. but didnt do and cracked my mobo an chip.. lol See... when you are drinking dont try putting the heatsink on your CPU. I put it on backwards. Sure it ran.. but it didnt keep my chip very cool. In fact my barton chip ran at about 70 celcius for about 40 minutes before I realized what was wrong. But it lasted.. which is really awesome. A palamino or thunderbird AMD core would have fried.. but the barton is nice. ho ho ho
