Nothing like seeing a complex, multiuser (~10-25+ full-time end-users) PHP app go from 100% CPU usage and a 100-200MB of RAM on an IIS5/Win2K server to 2% CPU usage and 25MB RAM on a *nix box.
Not to mention the added security and a semblance of respect for standards.
