Now it's time to take some steps to prevent this kind of disasters in the future: frequent backups . If you have a CD-R/RW and you have installed a packet writting program (InCD, DirectCD, DLA...) there are free programs to do selective backups to CD-RW. Once you have set the initial options you can do a backup in no time with a couple of clicks
